Tropical Storm Lee

Tropical depression 14 formed on the 11 PM advisory of September 14, 2017 with a max wind of 35 mph and a pressure of 1010 mb.

On September 16, 2017, TD 14 was upgraded to Tropical Storm Lee.

Lee dissipated at 11 pm on September 18, 2017, but reformed on September 22, 2017 as a tropical depression with winds of 35 mph and a minimum pressure of 1014 mb.

  • ECMWF - Moderate to strong tropical storm, pressure down to low 990s.
  • CMC - Weak tropical storm for a day or two, hinted at a return.
  • GFS - Moderate to strong tropical storm for several days. Pressure low to mid 990s.
  • NAVGEM - Tropical depression.
  • UKMET - Weak to strong tropical storm.
  • HWRF - Strong TS to weak cat 1. Pressure barely below 1000 mb. Hinted at a return a few days before it did. Potential cat 1 or 2.
  • HMON - Strong TS to weak cat 1, but lower pressure by a few mbs than the HWRF. Cat 1 lasts longer than HWRF. Hinted at a return a few days before it did. Potential cat 2 to 3.
