Weather Weenie
A weather weenie is an individual who posts on weather forums or social media stating unrealistic expectations of a weather event with no basis. Weather weenies often post the most extreme snowfall maps that can be found and become highly defensive when they are questioned about their forecasts. Another version of a weather weenie is someone who posts on a forum or social media page and only asks questions relating to their backyard.
