A bust is a term used to describe a weather event, most often winter weather events and severe weather events.

Winter Storms
- January 6 - 8th winter storm - The forecast called for heavy snow across the upper Southeast, including such cities like Atlanta and Raleigh supposed to get several inches of snow, but Atlanta got mostly rain and an ice storm, and Raleigh got some sleet. The snow stripe was much lighter than predicted in North Georgia, and 20-30 miles north as well.
