TOR:CON is TWC's way of ranking the potential for a tornado within 50 miles of a certain point on a numerical scale from 0 to 10. THIS IS NOT AN OFFICIAL FORECAST. Use this with a grain of salt since it isn't an official forecast from the NWS. Instead, use the [[spc|SPC's forecast scale]].

The Weather Channel has around for decades covering weather, and recently has become less 24/7 weather.

====== Winter Storm Naming ======
For the sake of public safety in the words of TWC, they began naming winter storms a few years ago. Naming a storm system makes sense from a few views, but overall, it appears silly. Might as well name severe weather systems while they are at it.
