======Southeast Ridge======
The Southeast Ridge, or SER, is a high pressure feature that develops anywhere from inside the Southeastern United States to south east of the Southeastern United States. The ridge creates above average temperatures and below average precipitation.

===== Effects on Weather =====
The Southeast Ridge has been the cause of many above average temperatures in seasons when it gets anchored in. The ridge often persists for anywhere from a few days, which is unusual, to a week or two before being dislodged by a stronger system or frontal boundary.
