====== Tropical Storm Arlene (2017) ======
Tropical storm Arlene was the first named storm of [[2017_hurricane_season|2017]], and formed outside of hurricane season in the North Central part of the Atlantic Ocean. The storm originally formed as Tropical Depression 1 on April 19, and was upgraded at 2:00 P.M. on April 20 to a weak tropical storm with sustained winds of 45mph and a pressure of 993mb. at 37.7 N, -42.0 W. As of 8:00P.M., its winds reached 50mph and pressure remained at 993mb at 39.4 N, -44.2 W. The storm dissipated on April 21 as an extratropical cyclone. It was one of the few tropical systems to form in April since 1851.

The storm has had no impacts other than rough seas in the area.
